The Experience Dance and Fitness Team
At this point in time, we are awaiting full biographies from Nicole, Alex, Kerry, Leanne and Steve. However, here is a brief resume of all the staff. Gill started out as a mother, then a psychology teacher, then an aerobics and nutrition instructor, finally making her way to becoming a dance instructor. She is a full member of the IDTA and is qualified to teach both ballroom and latin dance at Associate level. She is now working on her Licentiate teacher qualification in both ballroom and latin. Gill is also qualified to teach many fitness-related activities, but is now restricting herself to teaching ballroom and latin dance, wedding dances and solo salsa. She inspires beginners and improvers alike with her sense of humour and considerable patience! Leanne had been attending Gill's Solo Salsa class for a couple of years before she was asked to work with us. Leanne recently completed her IDTA Salsa Diploma and is about to start her IDTA teacher training in ballroom. She is a very popular teacher with her approachable manner and friendliness. Julie has been with Experience Dance and Fitness for nearly three years. She was a latin american dancer as a young person, and this is clearly demonstrated in the stylishness of her teaching and dancing. Julie has recently completed her IDTA professional teacher qualification in Ballroom Dancing at Associate level, and is about to start her Latin teacher training. Nicole recently completed her IDTA Salsa Diploma. Her background is in ballet and salsa, and she is teaching a solo Cuban Salsa Moves class and Ballet for us in Northampton. She has a lively personality, and makes classes interesting and fun, Lynnette also teaches ballet for us, plus street dance and jazz. Due to her other professional commitments she is only teaching privately for us at present Trudi is qualified in both ballroom and latin dance with the IDTA. She is presently doing private wedding dances for us in Bedfordshire. Candice is not taking classes for us at the moment as she is completing her degree, but we hope she will return soon.
