Experience Dance and Fitness - Adult Dance Classes - Roade

7.30-8.30pm                 Latin Dance Workout                 -   this ever popular solo class returns for another season

8.30-9.15pm                 Beginners Ballroom Dancing    -   Learn the basics of the lovely, elegant Waltz . 

9.15-10.00pm               Latin American Dancing for All -   Rumba until 15th June and then Cha Cha Cha. Beginners learn the very basic

                                                                                                steps of these beautiful dances, and  improvers add some slightly more intricate

                                                                                                steps to incorporate into their  routine.

Description of the different levels of ballroom and latin dancing:

The Beginners' Ballroom class is for complete beginners. Between Jan and July the four main dances will be taught at a basic level.

The Latin American class will contain figures for both beginners and improvers, and additional figures can be added for those with some experience.

The Improvers' Ballroom class is for those with some understanding of technique, including footwork and body rotations. New figures will be added to all of the ballroom dances offered in the beginners class.

The Intermediate class is for those who wish to dance at a more advanced level. The choice of dances will largely be dictated by those attending, but will start with the Viennese Waltz. There will be more emphasis on technique than in the previous classes and members may (if they desire) use this class to prepare for medal work.
