     Wedding dances are taught at Gayton and Blisworth, & sometimes Bedford.

Music will be provided by the Roy Hunt Trio.

Please bring your own drinks (tea and coffee provided) and a small plate of food.

Experience Dance and Fitness Classes - for Adult Beginners

Fed up with the Gym? Wanting to try something different?

Whether you want to get fit, dance or exercise for fun this is the Club for you. It's not easy if you are on your own or feel unsure about your abilities. Our classes are aimed at Adult Beginners. The general age range is between 23 and 60, with quite a few either side, so age is not a factor!

At Experience Dance and Fitness we are here to help you to take that first step. All our instructors have a very positive and friendly attitude. Our dance and fitness classes are intended to be for enjoyment first and foremost. It is not our intention to train you to become a professional ballet dancer or athlete. We are here to inspire you and to create an atmosphere that will give you confidence and make you want to dance for the rest of your life.

We hold classes in Biddenham, Bedford, Blisworth, Buckingham, Bugbrooke, Roade, Towcester & Northampton. We also offer private lessons in ballroom and latin dance, and also wedding dances.

Our dance classes have become so popular we are not currently offering any fitness classes, though this may change in the future. Tell us what you want and we will do our best to provide it.

Dance and Fitness Class Styles

All our Dance Classes will teach you correct technique, so that should you decide to take up the activity full-time, you will have a solid foundation on which to build. If you go to a Jazz, Tango or Salsa Club or even a Ball or Tea Dance, you will be able to apply what you have learnt and move around the dance floor with style. Whether you are learning ballet, ballroom, latin american, salsa, jazz, tap, modern or contemporary dance, you will develop skills and a fitness level that will make you feel a million dollars.

Ballroom and Latin Dance Classes

We specialise in teaching beginners, but we do assume they still want to learn to dance with style and decorum, even if their main purpose is to get round the dance floor without stopping! We have two levels of Beginners - Beginners and Improvers/Intermediates. In practice, our regulars, who may be beyond improver level still like to be reminded of correct technique and attended the improvers classes, as truly mastering figures takes much more time than most of us can manage in a week.

From September 2008, we are offering the opportunity for you to gain Medals in Ballroom and Latin Dancing. This is a great way to recognise your own achievements and to give added purpose to your dance lessons.

Ballroom and Latin classes are held in Biddenham (Bedford), Blisworth, Buckingham, Bugbrooke, Kislingbury, & Roade. Individual private lessons are available on Saturday afternoons & Sunday mornings and during the daytime during the week. Other early evenings may occasionaly be available for private work.

Theatre Style Dance Classes & Latin Style Dance Classes

We offer a range of theatre style classes in Ballet, Jazz, Street Dance, & Contemporary Dance in and around Bedford and Northampton.

Ballet is a fantastic style of dance as it improves your posture, builds up muscle and gives you control over your body, strengthening it and making it more flexible. It is therefore suitable for all ages, and is the perfect starting point for any budding dancer, whatever your age, or suitable simply for fitness. These classes are held at Bedford and Northampton.

Contemporary Dance is very much based on ballet, but is much of a freestyle dance, drawing of styles from around the world. it is very liberating. This is held at Bedford.

Latin Dance Workout and Solo Salsa classes are held in Towcester, Buckingham, Roade & Northampton. These are great for general fitness, especially for flexibility of the waist line, at the same time giving you a good cardiovascular workout.

The Solo Salsa also incorporates sections of other latin dances but the main focus is Salsa, using both popular latin dance tunes and pure salsa music.
